We are raising some hardy chillies. Both kids went over 13,000 foot passes at +/- six months. As you can tell from the pictures, the kids were thrilled. Or not.

Snow on Engineer Pass. In August, no less. That is just WRONG.
Nice composition on your 1st photo (Stony Pass w/ sign and 2 jeeps.) The angle of the mountains in the back, the clouds, and the placement of the 2 jeeps (the distant one slightly tilted)with the sign and the tufts of grass at the edges just really works. Love it!
